What is Restored Rubber?
This technology reclaims cured waste rubber that would otherwise be discarded, back to an uncured state where it can be used to make new products. Literally ‘undoing’ the vulcanizing process, the scrap rubber is restored to it‘s original state. The result is both a green AND a high quality compound that contains much the same properties of the original compound.
How does it work?
Post industrial rubber scrap is collected, sorted, devulcanized and then blended with a percentage of virgin rubber to meet target physical property requests. There are various formualtions based on this techology suitable for many different applications. Please contact us if you would like more information.
